A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Here is our first actionable step, get the property subdivided. We found a great surveyor, Brett Henson of Henson Surveying. With our new 2 lot subdivision plat in hand and approved by the town zoning administrator it’s next destination is the the bank. Our land is currently tied to our existing house as collateral for our mortgage, we would like to change that a bit through a partial lien release of mortgage. The bank will consider our proposal and best case get back to us with approval and no request for principal paydown.
