Bringing you up to speed

A lot has happened. A lot. Literally, a lot has officially been created. We ended up doing a cash out refinance on the house as opposed to the partial lien release. We decided to go this route for several reasons: it allowed us to spin off the half acre parcel relatively easily, we reduced our interest rate and we harvested some equity from the house to use toward our future endeavors.

We have also moved forward on purchasing an additional 1 acre parcel adjoining our existing. Subdividing it has been a struggle but we are making good forward progress here as well.
