Matthew was working in IT for many years when he had the crazy idea to build his own home in 2012. He got library books, watched videos and read blogs for one whole year before finally breaking ground and subsequently finishing his personal home over the next year. Matthew found more than the independence he set out to look for. He found a passion for building science and a talent for finish carpentry. He took the next several years learning and honing his skills before becoming a licensed general contractor in 2018. Matthew loves geeking out on advanced framing, innovative building science, spreadsheets, and tools. He loves calling the mountains of Asheville home.

Jennifer was a massage therapist and teacher at a local massage school for several years before making a career pivot to assist her husband Matthew's ever-growing business. Since joining the team at C2 construction, Jennifer has really found her calling as a project manager and loves the connections she gets to make within her community. Jennifer is passionate about client goals and vision.
